Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child at my side and other children with me in the cradle would work 12 hour shifts cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! Ha! It all started to seem logical, however it was far from completed. The house would need a great deal of effort and a love for shopping. To keep in the realm of budgets, I took to by taking my sons to estate sales looking for of diamonds. Each week we would spend Thursday to Saturday at estate sales and garage sales, buying old and new furniture. Then I painted and sanded in the driveway during the workweek. Looked a little something like this... This is when my interest in restoration of furniture started. Even though the house had been decorated, I was unable to put down. I also had a booth at the market where I sold things. In the end, I was stuffed with too numerous pieces of furniture to fit into the space available. I started having open houses at my house which saw over 1 000 guests came through on one weekend, and purchase whatever they saw in the first floor. Growing Days was created in this home. Not only was my business flourishing, but I was also growing our sweet family as well. As a young mom I was able to find the perfect way to be able to begin my own business and also being a decent mother. Growing Days just seemed to fit. My beautiful Nora was born in 2013, which was our fourth baby. I loved where my business was taking me, but I felt like I needed to take a breather. I took a pause from creating vintage furniture and also slowed my pace and stayed at home to take care of the kids. That was precisely the thing I needed. After a couple of months, the phone began to start to. People contacted me asking for help with interior decor and home renovations. Many of the people calling me were from those who came to my house at one of my furniture open houses. After that, I gradually took on new clients at my own speed. Soon I had multiple clients, and had as a home improvement business. It is likely that I would have laughed if somebody had informed me that my company was to become part of a forthcoming television show in the DIY Network. It's funny to think back on the idea.
