Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born August 20, 1974 in Aviano Italy American actress. Famous for her critically acclaimed performances of charming, naive individuals. Adams was one of seven children who lived when she was a kid in Colorado's Castle Rock. Her birth was during the time that her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. At the beginning of 1990, Adams began dancing professionally with Boulder's Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. Then in Minnesota and at a local theater, she was chosen to be a part of a mock film documentary on beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. She moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles after making her debut in the screen with a good-natured but snarky contestant. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began in late 1940s after she was signed by MGM. She had been found by Norma Shearer. She appeared in several popular films in the next decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film from 1954).
