Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 in Atlanta and married to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father had his first steps towards theatre. He acted on his Emory University campus in 1952 and also in other productions throughout Atlanta. He joined the Air Force in the year 1953. While located in Biloxi Mississippi, he appeared in the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. They got married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. In 1960, the couple moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The year 1964 was when Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year. The workshop ran for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
